About the Steam Museum

  • The Steam Museum at Rotary Village Station, is open when train is operating
  • This building is a re-creation of a typical 1920’s Ontario train station
  • Look at how boats, canals and trains took early locals and tourists from point A to B and back again
  • Learn about how steam travel opened up this area to settlement, tourism, business and development
  • Connected to the other side of the Muskoka Heritage Place property
  • It is on one level and has accessible washrooms

Museum parking and access

Visit the Steam Museum inside our Rotary Village Station at 100 Forbes Hill Drive, Huntsville, Ontario. Find out where to park and the accessible features the museum offers.

Purchase tickets

The steam museum is open one hour prior to scheduled train run. 

You may purchase your tickets for the steam museum and train at the station, or at our main admissions desk.
