Celebrate Thanksgiving at Muskoka Heritage Place! 

 

October 6 to October 9 train rides will be by advanced tickets only. 

2026 Thanksgiving Train will be by advanced tickets only. On Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, the Portage Flyer Train runs every 45 minutes from 10:45am to 3:15pm when the last train leaves the station.

Note: Regular admission to Muskoka Museum and Pioneer Village still applies, last day for the season is October 10.

Sponsorship levels

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring an object in our collection. Please note that items remain the property of Muskoka Heritage Place and cannot leave the site. Contact our Collections Coordinator to adopt an artifact.

As a bronze sponsor, you get:

  • A certificate of adoption, which includes the history and photograph of the artifact
  • Your name on our website and in the Muskoka Museum register
  • $10.00 tax receipt

As a silver sponsor, you get:

  • A certificate of adoption, which includes the history and photograph of the artifact
  • Your name on our website and in the Muskoka Museum register
  • A full site pass for one person
  • $30.00 tax receipt

As a gold sponsor, you get:

  • A certificate of adoption, which includes the history and photograph of the artifact
  • Your name on our website and in the Muskoka Museum register
  • A free visit with the artifact (two people, by appointment only)
  • A full site pass for one person
  • $30.00 tax receipt

As a platinum sponsor, you get:

  • A certificate of adoption, which includes the history and photograph of the artifact
  • Your name on our website and in the Muskoka Museum register
  • A free visit with the artifact (two people, by appointment only)
  • A full site pass for one person
  • Item sponsor: Exclusive adoption – you are the only one who can adopt the artifact
  • Cabin and train sponsor: Booklet with the history of the item as known at Muskoka Heritage Place
  • $50.00 tax receipt

Cabin or train only

As a diamond sponsor, you get:

  • A certificate of adoption, which includes the history and photograph of the artifact
  • Your name on our website and in the Muskoka Museum register
  • A free visit with the artifact (two people, by appointment only)
  • A full site pass for one person
  • Booklet with the history of the item as known at Muskoka Heritage Place
