Snowshoeing in the Village
Grab your snowshoes and hit the trails at Muskoka Heritage Place! From January to March 2025*, enjoy snowshoeing through the wintry wonderland at the Pioneer Village. Limited snowshoes available to borrow, we recommend you bring your own.

Heritage Week - Snowshoeing in the Village
Join us for Heritage Week, February 17 - 22, 2025*, for FREE snowshoeing in the wintry wonderland of Muskoka Heritage Place! Limited snowshoes available to borrow, we recommend you bring your own.

Snowshoeing Rules
Here's what you need to know:
- Entrance is located at 88 Brunel Road, Huntsville
- We advise you bring your own snowshoes
- Hot chocolate will be available at the entrance (tip: bring your own thermos!)
- Muskoka Museum will be open for visitors
- No other buildings or shops will be open and there will be no food or drinks for sale
- Snowshoe paths have been created throughout the site so visitors may take in lots of sights and snap beautiful pictures; please keep to these marked trails
- No animals on the property please. Service animals are welcome to join their families
- Please dress for the weather, wear proper footwear, watch your footing, and have fun!
Family Craft Days
Family Craft Days are a great way for your little ones to enjoy crafts and activities and for the whole family to spend some time together. This program is geared toward children ages 6 to 12. Only $7.00 per child. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Space is limited, pre-registration is recommended.
